FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (answered by Stacy!)

What is a wellness consultation?

A wellness consultation is a comprehensive visit with Stacy, the Nurse Practitioner, focused on understanding your health history, lifestyle, and personal goals. We review symptoms, discuss concerns, and create a personalized plan using labs, body composition analysis, and medical therapies when appropriate.

What makes your clinic different from primary care?

We focus on prevention, optimization, and long-term health, not just treating illness. Appointments are longer, care is personalized, and decisions are guided by advanced diagnostics rather than brief symptom-based visits.

What is body composition analysis?

Body composition analysis measures more than weight or BMI. It evaluates fat mass, lean muscle, visceral fat, and bone health—giving us a clearer picture of your metabolic and overall health and allowing us to track meaningful progress over time.

What kind of lab testing do you offer?

We offer comprehensive lab testing including hormone levels, metabolic markers, cardiovascular risk, inflammation, immune health, and nutritional status. Labs help identify imbalances early and guide personalized treatment plans.

Do you prescribe medications like HRT or GLP-1s?

Yes, when medically appropriate.
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and GLP-1 medications are used thoughtfully as part of a comprehensive plan and are always paired with monitoring, lifestyle guidance, and long-term goals in mind.

Is medication required to be a patient?

No. Medications are tools—not requirements. Some patients benefit from lifestyle optimization alone, while others may benefit from medical therapy. Your plan is individualized based on your needs and goals.

What are the 1-year, 5-year, and 10-year wellness plans?

These plans are personalized health roadmaps built around your goals:

  • 1-Year Plan: Focuses on symptom improvement and measurable health gains

  • 5-Year Plan: Prioritizes sustained wellness, metabolic health, and disease prevention

  • 10-Year Plan: Supports longevity, strength, independence, and healthy aging

Your plan evolves as your life and goals change.

Do you focus on preventive care?

Absolutely. Preventive and functional medicine are central to our approach. We assess cardiovascular risk, prevent diabetes and prediabetes, optimize immune and inflammatory health, and aim to detect risk early—before disease develops.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

Follow-up frequency depends on your plan and treatments. Most patients are seen regularly to review labs, track progress, and adjust care—ensuring ongoing support and accountability.

Do you accept insurance?

Our services are offered on a self-pay basis, allowing for longer visits, personalized care, and advanced diagnostics not usually covered by insurance. Therefore, we do not accept insurance for the services we provide.

Is this clinic right for me?

If you’re looking to feel better, understand your health more deeply, and invest in long-term wellness—not just short-term fixes—then yes. Our care is designed for those who want to be proactive about their health.

What does “Live everyday like it is another day in Paradise” mean?

It reflects our philosophy: helping you feel energized, balanced, and confident in your health—not someday, but every day.
